| I am sure they will all run and get involved if fit. Just been looking at records for legs and the overall event. Some amazing runs. John and Billy have the record for leg 1. Some times are unbelievable. Lets aim to get more record times for the legs. With class runs from everyone I am sure it is possible to get a win that would make my day. |

A win in the event would be on a par with a European Cup win by United!!
I know that, I mean a European cup win, would not go down too well in certain quarters, so if they win it again this season, perhaps I can look forward to a win in Calderdale next time.
Which remnds me they are on the box v Roma in 30 mins!!
See you soon. |

| looking at the team that run on sunday with just another 2-3 changes we could have easly do it. I my self could have been 4-5 mins quicker if i had James or Mat pulling me rould. But that life you have to get them out on the day and its the same for each club (Next year for sure). |

| And thats the same for every team event we do, whether it be CWR, National 12 stage or national XC. We need all the runners out. |

if Billy m had found his legs on leg one we would have been between 5 and 10 mins faster, but you can only go as fast as your legs will let you.
he gave 110%. |

There is no questioning that Billy gave his all. I remember back to the UKA Fell Relays in 2006 when I was dead and John Brown was pushing me up the hills because I felt so weak. As an old member of the club used to say, 'you can only piss with the cocks you have got'.
