| Glad there seems to be a solution. I seem to remember Dave ran very well on Leg 3 last year. Hope he agrees to run it this year and that you can decide who drops out amicably. |

| Roadrunner. Have the parties regarding Leg3 been advised yet? Hilbob wanted a swift reply according to his post yesterday. Does Matt know yet that his ribs are going to prevent him from running? |

| Quote: | Full body cover is mandatory and checks will be made at the start and finish of each leg. Each runner must carry cagoule, over-trousers, hat, gloves, relevant maps, compass and whistle. If any runner is found not to be in possession of ALL the above items, their en-tire team will be disqualified.
They check each runner before the leg. It's part of the checking in process. We can share equipment between leg runners i.e leg 1 could give equipment to leg 3 runners, but giving equipment to leg 2 runners will not be possible. I am sure most of us have this equipment at home, but lets start discussion on what we need/who needs what so I can dig out spares from home.
|
Now a good time to revisit this bit, who's got what/who needs what, anyone got 2 of anything?
The girlies have already been advised of mandatory equipment - mobile for ringing Mountain Rescue and Lippy for when they arrive!! |

Before I forget, I would just like to wish both Teams in the Calderdale the best of luck for Sunday and especially the girls. I'm full of admiration that they have decided to get involved in what can be a pretty hairy event. The weather doesn't look too promising either!!
Finally can Duncan publish the A team on here, as I understand there have been changes since the last post on the matter?
C.U. there. |

Hi All,
Trying to get in contact with James Williams or Paul Birkett. We have had a few withdrawals for this weekends CWR and need a runner to come in to leg three with Dave Townsend. James Kovacs is running leg 6 with Duncan, but just need a runner for leg 3. It's a short leg, 5 mile approx. If you read this lads can you ring me on 07518346984 or 07793102298 or if anyone has any ideas or willing to run ring me. No use e-mailing me on roadrunneraj@btinternet.com because I can't remember my password to sign in to it!!!!!
Rest of team is as posted the other week and will hopefully, fingers and toes crossed, stay that way.
Good luck to everyone running GM champs tomorrow. Might be down to watch it if weather is half good.

Hi Andy
We have Mark Edikar and Pete Budd on the 'B' team each 37min 10k men and we have a reserve to fill on the 'B' team in if required. So you have a last resort if all else fails.
