SALFORD 5KSALFORD 5K ROAD RACEThe 18th Salford 5K Road Race will be held this year on Saturday 9th May 2009. The race takes place on an accurately measured, traffic-free course in Heaton Park, Prestwich, Manchester, with the start/finish at the Grand Lodge Entrance, off A665 Bury Old Road. This year's race will begin at 11.30am. There is also an Under 17 3K race beginning at 11.00am with awards for U17, U15 and U13 (3K race is £2, plus £1 extra on the day). There is an extensive prize list for the main races, including vets. and team awards. This year's entry fees will be £4 club athletes, £6 unattached, plus £1 extra for entries on race day. |
