Salford 10KCan anyone give me a heads-up and tell me the exact road route of the Salford 10K in April - I've heard it's 2 laps, fast & flat ?

Apologies Stoutman, I assumed somebody who know better than I do would have replied before now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As far as I understand it, the race starts on Littleton Road, outside the new Salford Sports complex. It goes along Littleton Road, towards Cussons soap factory and Rainsough on to Kersal Vale Road. Shortly after passing Cussons, at the mini-roundabout junction, it turns left along Agecroft Road, passing the power station and HMP Forest Bank on the right and Agecroft Cemetary on the left. After a short climb, the race turns left on to Langley Road which turns into Langley Road South, winding through the industrial estate. In Charlestown, at the end of Langley Road South, the race turns left again and back onto Littleton Road to complete one lap. The lap is repeated.

So are we back on the original course then? The nice fast route?

I assume so. I've not heard anything to say otherwise. The changes were only made last year because there were road works at the first roundabout/corner. They are not there this year.

fun run min age?I'm taking part in the Salford 10k on good friday. I'd like to know how old the kids have to be to take part in the fun run please? My daughter is six but I'm sure she's capable of running it

Someone has sent your question off to people in the know. The race organisers! I am sure your daughter will be able to manage the fun run. Is someone planning on escorting her around the route? I am not aware of any rules regarding min ages in fun runs.

The Fun Run is 2Km which can be run by a six year old.
Younger children could run but must be accompanied by an adult.
