Puma Spikes are the best!
No, seriously, I have never had a spike come up through the spike plate, but often loose the whole spike fitting from the shoe. This only happens after a period of time and usually after I have encountered some hard surfaces. Try up and running, hyde. Give them a ring and ask them what they have in stock. You could try www.startfitness.co.uk (Or .com if that doesnt work) If you are certain about size they are good and will post out in two days. We got some stuff from them the otger day and it arrived quickly.

The second link are the shoes I am wearing at the moment. They fasten on the side which is starnge at first but works well.

cross country spikes

HI

I think that there was a review of several cross country spikes in a recent edition of running fitness magazine (or whatever it's called). I'll bring it to the club on Thursday (assuming I make it to the Blue Bell).

I've got the spikes roadrunner is talking about, i've only ran in them twice the first time they got sucked off in the mud the second race i wore them the spike fitting came out completely.
I've heard of people who have had similar problems but at the same time i know a few people who really like them.
Suppose is down to the individual.
At the mo i'm wearing green and yellow saucony. There not the best looking shoe but really comfty and i've had no problems yet.
