andems racesAndy has organised two races for the new year.
First one is THE JOE SALT NEW YEARS DAY MULTI TERRAIN.
11;15 am monday 1st jan 2007 from the Red Lion inn, the square Whitworth nr Rochdale (A671 Burnley rd)
This is a 4.2m around the roads and trails of Cowm Reservoir.
Start and finish at Cowm park way (please park here) allow 5 minuets from pub.
The next one is THE JOE GEELING MEMORIAL 5k ROAD RACE.
11;15 am sunday 21st jan 2007, from the Falkon inn, Church st Littleborough.(A58 Halifax rd)
Jo Geeling was the little boy murdered in Bury earlier this year.
Jo who suffered from Cyistic Fibrosis was loved by everyone who knew him. The proceeds of this event will be donated to Cyistic Fibrosis and Booth hall childrens hospital.
I know a lot of Salford Harriers runners turn out to Andy's events and it would be good to see us supporting these events too.
