|

| Northernboyslovegravy are pleased to present the third running of the Gravy Pud 5 fell race. Sunday 2nd December, 11am, sees the start of this popular event from the Bulls Head public house, Tintwistle. Entries for the event can be made before the day using the entry form from www.northernboyslovegravy.co.uk or entries on the day accepted. The course is a pleasent mixture of tracks, trails, open fell and woodland. The course provides challenging climbs and lots of good runable ground. Following the race there will be a presentation in the pub where the northernboyslovegravy informal cake competition will be judged by all the runners tucking in to the cakes. The pub also serves a good range of sunday lunch with lots of gravy!!!!! |

Would be perfect. Plus we have some lovely hot food 'free'* after the event.
*Still in talks with the pub regarding making it, but it will be free. |

John Brown won and typically decided to do the JB version of the race and not the marked version. (And he's moaning about navigation next week!!!) Well done John.
Phil West was a great 9th place.
Race was ran in no rain, but it soon returned.
Well done all who ran.

was a good turnout for such a crappy day. I enjoyed watching everyone struggling up one of the climbs, although everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.
Good race and well organised.
well done |

Good race to watch, providing you wanted a good walk or a good run. I had a good walk in fine, fresh weather and saw over 100 runners of mixed ability putting up a good show. Great run from JB (miles clear) and also good ninth from Phil after his win in 2006.
